The Technical Innovation Professional Committee was formally established on September 10, 2011, with Researcher Li Xinnan as the director. The functional positioning of the Technology Innovation Professional Committee includes the following aspects: 1. Theoretical research on technological innovation; 2. Policy research on technological innovation to provide decision-making reference for relevant government departments; 3. Empirical research and consulting services on technological innovation in industries, regions, and enterprises; 4. Organize various academic exchange activities; 5. In recent years, around the needs of national and local policy-making departments, the needs of the business community and the requirements of theoretical development, a series of research, policy consultation and academic exchange activities have been organized and carried out: such as undertaking the major consulting project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering "Research on the Construction of Industrial Technology Innovation Support System in my country's Industrial Field", "Research on the Construction and Development Strategy of my country's Industrial Technology Innovation System" commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the national high-end think tank project "Research on the Technological Innovation System with Enterprises as the Main Body", The Ministry of Science and Technology commissioned "Research on the Layout of my country's Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance", etc; undertake "Research on the Construction of Science and Technology Innovation system of China Nonferrous Mining Group" and "Research on the Construction of Science and Technology Innovation system of Shaanxi Yanchang Group" to provide strategic consulting services for enterprises; continue to hold "Technology Innovation Roundtable"; contact and exchange with local technology innovation related research groups, cooperate with Shenzhen Innovation and Development Research Institute to hold Dameisha China Science and Technology Innovation Forum, and cooperate with Anhui Technology Innovation Promotion Association and Qingdao Science and Research Management Research Association; actively carry out international academic exchanges and cooperation, carry out cooperative research with the University of Northampton in the United Kingdom, co-host the International Academic Conference on Science and Technology Innovation Policy and Management (Nanjing), and initiate the establishment of the International Research Center for Science and Technology Innovation Policy and Management.
