The Special Committee on the Industrialization of Scientific and Technological Achievements of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Special Committee) is a special committee under the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy. The purpose of the special committee is: under the guidance of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, in order to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, to carry out research on government policies and market laws for the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and to serve the national innovation-driven development strategy. The business scope of the special committee is: academic seminars and exchanges on the industrialization of science and technology; knowledge training on the transformation of scientific and technological personnel; decision-making consulting services for government enterprises and other related organizations; technology development services for market entities; intermediary services for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The Special Committee shall have a Standing Committee, which shall be the executive body of the Committee of the Whole when the Committee is not in session. The members of the Standing Committee are elected by the committee after consultation and recommendation. The Standing Committee is re-elected every four years.
