The Rural Revitalization Assistance Working Group of the Research Association went to Lan County of Shanxi Province to carry out assistance activities.
In response to the work arrangement of Rural Revitalization of the China Association for Science and Technology in 2023, the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association (hereinafter referred to as the Research Association) attaches great importance to the work of rural revitalization and has set up a working group to carry out rural revitalization and assistance activities in Lan County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province from June 9 to 10, 2023.
In response to the work arrangement of Rural Revitalization of the China Association for Science and Technology in 2023, the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association (hereinafter referred to as the Research Association) attaches great importance to the work of rural revitalization and has set up a working group to carry out rural revitalization and assistance activities in Lan County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province from June 9 to 10, 2023.
The assistance working group is headed by Xing Jijun, director of the International Cooperation and Science and Technology Diplomacy Professional Committee of the Research Association, former deputy director of the China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, bureau-level counselor, and researcher Xing Jijun, researcher of the Institute of Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Secretary-General and Office Director of the Research Association, Ji Bin, head of the Secretariat Party Building Working Group, Chi Hao, and Director of the Secretariat Office Training, and Kou Minggui.
Poverty alleviation first helps wisdom. Starting from its own characteristics, from opening up the horizons of the leaders of Lanxian County and changing the way of thinking of the staff of Lanxian County, the Research Association communicated with the leaders of Lanxian County and the Education and Science and Technology Bureau, the Development and Reform Bureau, the Industry and Information Bureau, the County Association for Science and Technology, and other relevant departments. Nearly 30 comrades exchanged views. Xing Jijun, the leader of the assistance working group, made a report entitled "Observation and Understanding from the Perspective of Great Changes: my country's International Development Environment and Technological Innovation", and researcher Kang Dachen made a report entitled "Talking about New Concepts and New Thinking of Regional Development -- Lanxian Study and Investigation Report. After the report, the help working group also exchanged views with comrades from relevant departments. Through special reports and exchanges, the help working group brought some inspiration in thought and way of thinking to comrades in Lanxian County, and played a certain role in helping to do a good job in the work of Lanxian County in the future.
The assistance working group also visited the former site of the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army 120 Division and the former site of the Ministry of Health of the 120 Division in Lancheng Town, Lanxian County, and received patriotism education; conducted research on food processing, dough sculpture and other related industries in Lanxian County; finally, the assistance working group purchased some assistance products from the 832 assistance platform and Lanxian Liancheng Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd., and successfully completed the assistance work of rural revitalization in Lanxian County.
