On August 20, 2022, the 14th China Youth Innovation Forum, sponsored by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, and jointly organized by the Youth Working Committee of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association and the School of Public Policy and Management of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was successfully held in the Xijiao Hotel in Beijing in the form of online and offline integration. This forum is based on"Challenges and Strategies of Innovation and Development in the New EraMore than 700 experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of science and technology strategy consulting of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Tongji University, Beijing Normal University and other scientific research institutions gathered together. Fang Xin, honorary chairman of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, and Dong Junshe, executive deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a welcome speech. Mu Rongping, chairman of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy and dean of the School of Public Administration of the National University of Science and Technology, delivered an opening speech. On the afternoon of the 20th, this forum specially invited the leaders of the editorial department of "Science Research", "Scientific Research Management", "Science and Science and Technology Management", "Managing the World", "Proceedings of the Chinese Academy of Sciences", "Scientific and Technological Progress and Countermeasures", "Innovation and Development Policy" and "Scientometrics" to review and prospect the topic selection of journals.

This forum has 17 sub-forums in parallel, including 7 offline sub-forums and 10 online sub-forums. More than 700 participating scholars conducted academic reports and exchanges and discussions on various topics such as "innovation network and innovation development", "digital transformation and innovation development", "green transformation and sustainable innovation development.

This forum received a total of more than 250 submissions, and the Forum Academic Committee selected 16 outstanding papers through an anonymous review process. Mu Rongping, chairman of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, dean of the School of Public Administration of the National University of Science and Technology, and Wang Haiyan, deputy dean of the School of Public Administration, issued award certificates to the winners of outstanding papers. Chairman Mu Rongping delivered a closing speech, expressing heartfelt thanks to all participating scholars and staff, and looking forward to meeting with experts and scholars at Hunan University next year. After the forum, on the evening of the 20th, the Youth Working Committee of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association held a working meeting. The participating experts put forward valuable opinions and suggestions for the next stage of the work of the Youth Working Committee.
