In order to effectively promote the international development and high-level construction of my country's science and technology associations, benchmark world-class goals, and grasp the distribution pattern and development trend of world-class science and technology associations from a global perspective, the China Association for Science and Technology commissioned the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association to carry out "World-Class Science and Technology Association Evaluation Research". On the basis of the evaluation of world-class science and technology associations in 2019, further index optimization and evaluation analysis are needed to provide reference for improving the construction quality of science and technology associations in China. Science and technology associations refer to social organizations that engage in scientific and technological activities, promote scientific and technological development, and create a scientific and technological atmosphere. They are mainly composed of scientific and technological workers, managers and participants of scientific and technological activities. They are engaged in academic exchanges, talent training, scientific popularization, scientific and technological consultation, and international exchanges. It plays an important role in cooperation.
