From July 27 to 28, 2021, the 23rd China Science and Technology Association Annual Conference of the China Association for Science and Technology, co-organized by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, undertaken by the China Association for Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute, and co-sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal People's Government The China Science and Technology Summit -2021 China Science and Technology Think Tank Forum was held in Beijing.

As an important part of the 23rd annual meeting of the China Association for science and technology, this forum takes "promoting the deep integration of science and technology economy and injecting new momentum into innovation and development" as the theme, focusing on the development trend of science and technology economic integration at home and abroad, the construction of science and technology innovation service system, and the practical experience of "science and technology innovation China. More than 100 representatives from more than 50 think tanks, universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises attended the forum, and more than 200 representatives attended the meeting through online live broadcast.

The forum invited five guests to deliver keynote speeches. Changjiang Xiaojuan, member of the standing Committee of the 13th National people's Congress and the School of Public Administration of Tsinghua University, discussed the development trend of open source technology system, open science system and global innovation network in the digital age. Fan Ruiping, member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, reviewed the experience of Chengdu in the construction of a park city demonstration zone that implements the new development concept in recent years, and explored a new path and provided a new vision for the ideal urban form in the future. Zhang Xiaoqiang, executive vice chairman of the China International Economic Exchange Center and former deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, put forward development suggestions on promoting the integrated development of my country's innovation chain and industrial chain, and achieving high-quality economic and social development supported by science and technology. Qiu Baoxing, chairman of the China Urban Science Research Association and former vice minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, put forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to improve the kinetic energy of urban science and technology. Qian Xuhong, president of East China Normal University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, emphasized the importance of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and put forward suggestions for exploring and cultivating leaders in the industrialization of high-tech transformation with Chinese characteristics that can be promoted and replicated.

Yan Jianlai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, Chen Xingliang, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Forestry, Tang Weiqing, Secretary-General of the Chinese Society of Computer Science, Gong Jinli, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Textile Engineering, Dai Guoqiang, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology, Ma Xingfa, Secretary of the Party Group of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Ma Lin, President of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Li Guoping, jiang Yuyang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress and chairman of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and other guests shared research findings, thoughts and suggestions on the two topics of "Learning to Serve the Function and Mechanism of Technology and Economic Integration" and "The Needs and Practice of Local Technology and Economic Integration", And had a lively interaction with the representatives on the spot.
