The 19th China Science and Technology Policy and Management Annual Conference

October 21-22, 2023, sponsored by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, jointly organized by the School of Management of Zhejiang University, the Research Center for Innovation Management and Sustainable Competitiveness of Zhejiang University, and the School of Business Administration of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, The 19th China Science and Technology Policy and Management Academic Conference, co-organized by the editorial departments of Science Research, Scientific Research Management, Science and Science and Technology Management, Innovation and Development Policy, was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

With the theme of "Chinese-style Modernization: Innovation-driven Digital Empowerment Paths and Countermeasures", this annual meeting discusses the paths and strategies of technological innovation-driven digital transformation and empowerment in the construction of Chinese-style modernization, and exchanges how to support China through innovation-driven digital empowerment. Style modernization construction, research and put forward new ideas, new methods and new measures to deal with the new situation and new requirements. The conference attracted 691 papers from universities, scientific research institutes and industry, and more than 1200 experts and scholars attended the conference.

After the award ceremony, the conference entered the keynote report session, and five experts made a wonderful conference report around the theme of the annual meeting. On the afternoon of October 22, two thematic dialogues and a closing ceremony were held. First, under the chairmanship of Professor Wei Jiang, Vice Chairman of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President (presiding) of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, six experts, Fan Chunliang, Li Zhengfeng, Su Jingqin, Zhu Guilong, Chen Guang, and Chen Yantai, conducted a high-end dialogue on "Digital Innovation Drives Chinese Modernization, zhou Qing, Li Shenghui, Huang Can, Guo Jingjing, Mao Hao and Wu Jianlong held a youth dialogue on" Innovation and Development in the Digital Context. After the two thematic dialogues, an award ceremony was held at the annual meeting. Chairman Mu Rongping, the host of the closing ceremony, commended the 2023 outstanding doctoral thesis, the 2022 outstanding thesis and the 2023 outstanding thesis and author.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Mu Rongping expressed his sincere respect and gratitude to the preparatory group of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, and made a comprehensive summary of the annual meeting.
