《科学学在中国》

The book "Science of Science in China" was collectively written by some veteran comrades of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association. At the end of 2005, the Institute held its fifth congress. The old directors in Beijing still attended the meeting with great interest and said that they should give full play to their residual heat, especially to record the development history of science in China, so as to promote the healthy development of this discipline. At that time, Professor Fang Xin, chairman of the Research Association and deputy secretary of the Party group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, immediately expressed his support and asked Mr. Zhang Bihui to organize the specific organization. According to the principle of voluntariness and the physical condition of veteran comrades, a writing team including Wang Xingcheng, Xu Yaozong, Chen Yisheng, Liu Ze-yuan, Jiang Guohua, Fu Zhiliang, etc. was organized, which took more than a year to complete.

The China Science and Technology Policy Research Association is a product of reform and opening up. Inspired by the "Spring of Science," the Science Liaison Group prepared by the Information Institute of the State Science and Technology Commission, the Office of the Department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and many dialectics of nature workers was supported from the beginning by leaders including Qian Sanqiang, Qian Xuesen, Yu Guangyuan, Li Chang, Tong Dalin, Pei Lisheng, Gu Dehuan, Huang Zang, etc. This is an important factor in the rapid establishment and development of research societies. Since the establishment of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, it has experienced many efforts such as discipline introduction and institutionalization, discipline construction, and academic exchanges. In particular, it pays attention to the combination of the characteristics of the times, Chinese characteristics, and the characteristics of disciplines, and conducts timely research on new theories and ideas that have emerged at home and abroad, such as science and technology to promote economic and social development, knowledge economy, national innovation system, and circular economy. The research society was born in the arrival of the spring of science and grew up in the era of reform and opening up. The main members are active in the forefront of theory and reform, keeping close to the pulse of the times, which can be regarded as keeping pace with the times. History will record their contributions in propagating the spirit of science, advocating scientific management, and promoting science and technology for economic and social development. In recent years, with the support of the Institute of Science and Technology Policy and Management of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "China Science and Technology Policy and Management" annual meetings held in Beijing, Dalian, and Zhejiang have inherited the good traditions of the past and grasped the scientific development concept and innovation. The country and other hot issues have worked hard to explore, and have achieved gratifying results in training young science workers, enriching the content of science in China.

The publication of this book also received the enthusiastic support of the old leaders of the research society. Feng Zhijun, former member of the standing Committee of the National people's Congress, former vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League, and veteran chairman of the Association, wrote a preface to this book; Wu Mingyu, former vice minister of the State Science and Technology Commission and veteran leader of the Association, wrote the title of the book; Mu Rongping, chairman Fang Xin, director of the Institute of Science and Technology Policy and Management Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, provided strong support for the publication of Sciences. Qian Wei has done a lot of work on the unified manuscript of this book. Yang Xiangping, Han Haibo and Gong Yu have worked hard on data collection and specific work. Li Xiao and other editors of Intellectual Property Publishing House have done a lot of editing and processing work. Thank you together.
